Roger de Jonckheere

The professional sculptor career of Patrick Laroche started in 1985 in Brussels, Belgium through his encounter with the sculptor Roger de Jonckheere, first Prix de Rome.
Roger de Jonckheere trained Patrick as his successor from 1985 to 1997. During this period, Patrick exercised classical sculpture techniques such as marble carving, cast technique, enlargements, and reductions of models. He also created his art pieces with a pointing machine, a method employed by sculptors practitioners, such as August Rodin, through centuries.
