Patrick Laroche's contemporary work is distinguished by colorful and oversized vegetables. In 2010 the artist launched a new collection called “Vegetables”, combining sensuality, a sharp sense of observation, and surrealism.

In 2015 the collection is exhibited at the World Expo in Milan, Italy for the French Pavilion. Some major installations were exhibited at the Pont Alexandre III, on the Invalides, and the Place Charles-de-Gaulle in Paris. In 2011 the collection is exhibited on the margin of the FIAC (Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain) in Paris.

The collection is regularly exhibited in Europe, Canada, Africa, Asia, and the United States such as Art New York, Art Miami, and L.A. Art Show. Some of his works are also part of the permanent collections in Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, Poznan in Poland; and Toronto in Canada.
